Marjorie Jacobson

Margie is an attorney, coach and nonprofit leader with experience spanning a variety of diverse settings, including an AMLaw 100 law firm, Fortune 100 companies, startups and nonprofits She is of counsel to a boutique education rights law firm, a court-appointed attorney and guardian ad litem in matters involving intellectual disability, and a co-founder of an educational forum offering innovative financial and legal self-care courses for women. She serves on the board of the Westport Country Playhouse where she currently co-chairs its Education, Diversity and Inclusion committee; She also serves on the regional board and national commission of the ADL and is a former board member of the Remarkable Theater. She holds a BA in English from Brandeis University and a JD from Boston University School of Law, as well as Mediation Skills Certification from Quinnipiac University School of Law's Center on Dispute Resolution. Margie is a long-time Westport resident and the mother of 3 wonderful daughters. She lives in the Old Mill neighborhood where she can often be seen chasing her goldendoodle as he tries to catch seagulls at low tide.
